Beggars can’t be choosers, but they can be incredibly specific.
This shirt is basically a public service announcement about our chosen form of poverty.
It always starts innocently enough. You find a rusted-out shell on Marketplace. You tell your family, “It’s just a weekend project.” Fast forward three months, and you’re eating instant ramen just to afford a new engine cradle, a fresh set of skid steer tires, and some decent headers. Your actual daily driver (the one pushing 170,000 miles that desperately needs its own maintenance) is left out in the cold driveway because the garage now belongs to a machine whose sole destiny is absolute destruction.
You pour your blood, sweat, and entire savings account into the build. You spend all night grinding, fabricating, and praying you pass tech inspection. You finally roll out into the arena, the green flag drops, and you make that first massive hit.
And then boom suddenly, your front end is pointing in three different directions, your steering column looks like modern art, and your drivetrain is screaming for mercy. Now, you have to drag the twisted metal back to the pits, break out the sledgehammers, and try to piece it all back together.
So no, I don't want a Porsche. I want a reinforced bumper, a fresh battery, and enough welding wire to put this monstrosity back on the dirt and then do it all over again.
• 100% cotton
• Fabric weight: 5.0–5.3 oz/yd² (170-180 g/m²)
• Open-end yarn
• Tubular fabric
• Taped neck and shoulders
• Double seam at sleeves and bottom hem
Disclaimers:
• Due to the fabric properties, the White color variant may appear off-white rather than bright white.
